(More customer reviews)First, for those who have had an issue charging the light and got the flashing blue light when on the charger, the problem is most likely a bad electrical connection.Unscrew the battery end and clean the silver colored, unanodized, end of the cap to remove any grease that is hindering an electrical connection.The cap is part of the electrical system and any grease between the cap and the body of the light will mess with the connection.Also, clean the charging contacts on the light with a pencil eraser (just rub it like you are erasing)...This will clean off any gunk that could be messing with the connection.I've had charging issues and this is all it takes to correct them.

With all that said, I love this light.Constant output for 2 hours, unlike Mag and Streamligh lights that dim after a few minutes and continued to yellow out.This is a pure while light, with no artifacts in the beam....meaning its a nice even illumination tool.It's not cheap, but you are paying for quality.I have used mine for about 6 months, in rain, fog, complete darkness, indoors, outdoors.....and it just performs without question.You can not go wrong with it.

Lastly, if you are going to buy the T4, buy the new version that Inova is releasing this spring of '08.The output went up from 125 lumens to 175 lumens.....for those not familiar with light ratings, it is one heck of an increase!Try it and you will not be disappointed.

Has been under my car, in my camper, in the basement, the attic, and more.I have dropped it, banged it, and misused it and it keeps working.Light is nice and bright, too. I like the hex-shaped sections, they keep it from rolling around, and I like the fact that it will stand or hang.It casts a broad light for work areas.The switch has an old-fashioned, quality feel to it.Positive action, no slop.Uncommonly good quality in this day and age!

For example-fixing a leaky pipe in a bathroom or kitchen cabinet: the legs are quite flexible and can be wrapped around a pipe and aimed at the problem area; the light is bright and steady.Have you ever had someone trying to be "helpful" by holding a flashlight for you? This light eliminates the frustration to both parties involved...No, a little more to the left..no, now it's in my eyes!..etc. Also great for working on your car. It is rechargeable, has a high/low option, plus a flashing mode. The built-in magnet is fairly small, but strong, a larger magnet would be an improvement. You cannot go wrong by adding this light to your toolkit.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for something to replace the cigarette lighters in my car.I don't smoke, so they serve no purpose.I even considered buying plastic caps from the dealer at fifteen dollars each.

Imagine my surprise when I came across this little beauty.The body is machined out of solid stainless steel, even the cap.Very high-end appearance, heft, and feel in the hand.

When placed in a cigarette lighter, it looks like it came from the factory that way. It replaces the existing lighter, and is inserted with the lens facing outward, away from the socket.

It is exactly the same diameter as the original lighters that came in my Lexus, and is low-profile enough to fit inside the closed ashtray.It does come with a metal ring that fits around it to make it a bit thicker for outlets that are larger, but that wasn't necessary for my application.

The cap twists to turn the light on or off, which keeps it from activating accidentally, but does require two hands. There are small holes drilled in a ring around the cap to allow light from the LED to show from the sides. It has a blue LED in it that lights softly when it is charging, and the small holes allow it to be easily seen from the sides.This works well for locating the light in a dark cabin.

The main LED is a white Nichia.They have a patented technology that makes the wire grid that covers the base of the LED clear, which allows up to twice the light output of a standard white LED.Note, however, that this is not a Luxeon or Cree LED, which are extraordinarily bright, but also use lots of current and would quickly drain the small battery in a device this size. The Photon Freedom Micro light also uses a Nichia LED, so that may give you a better idea of how bright it is if you are familiar with that one.

The lens is convex, like a magnifying glass, so the beam is bright, round, and has very little side spill.This is good for tasks that you might use it for in a car, like reading a map without lighting up the entire interior of the car and blinding the driver.

It is rechargeable, and according to the included instructions can be left in the outlet when not in use.

Mine just arrived today, and I've already ordered another one.Highly recommended.

This one puts out a a poor amount of light. It also does not retain its charge well.You will have to shake it frequently to keep it charged.

I would say it is one of the worst ones I purchased.
