(More customer reviews)Bought a 24 volt Battery Charger from Monster Scooter Parts.(24 Volt 8.0 Amp XLR Battery) First one sent did not work. Returned it and it took them along time but they sent me another faulty charger. Sent that back and asked for a full refund and all my shipping costs. They refused
and charged me a restocking fee, claiming nothing is wrong with it and that my batteries are to blame. Knowing my batteries are brand new I put in a complaint with Yahoo stores, Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureaus. I even went are far as have my new batteries checked out and have a statement that they are fine. Monster Scooter Parts
denied everything, still claiming the charger was and is good.

I truly feel this company sells faulty products to profit on the restocking fees! I told Better Business Bureaus to just drop the case against them because when I sell the electric scooter that this charger was to be sold with I will get back the $75.00 that Monster Scooter Parts stole from me. Also told Better Business Bureaus that I will be telling
everyone I can about my shopping experience with this company.

Humminbird 7700281 GCBK Portable Gel-Cell Battery and Charger Review

(More customer reviews)Not much to say. It's a gel cell battery that works like you would expect.Got it for a Humminbird Piranhamax 170 to install in my kayak.Has enough capacity to run the sonar for a long time with full back light (12 hours and I still hadn't hit the 11 volt mark).

I could have probably went with a smaller battery, as this one seems almost like overkill.

If you want lots of capacity for a gray scale fish finder, you can't go wrong here.

(More customer reviews)I have paid my money and learned my lesson, but I do hope you don't repeat my mistakes.They delivered the part quick but it is not the same battery charger as shown on the website.There is not even any manufacturing country on it.I used it once and it was broken.I tried various ways to contact the brilliant store but I got no response back from them so far.Yes, it is cheap but it is not worthy of your money either.I think Amazon should also set a guideline for all these "cheap" equivalent components.Actually, they are not cheap while including shipping and handling.

I use it to keep a marine battery that doesn't get a lot of use, charged, and a field battery pack for my telescope. I just hook each one up periodically for a couple of hours, and I don't have to worry about whether I've overcharged them or not. I've used it for about 6 months now, and both batteries are doing fine.

(More customer reviews)I really like this charger. It does what I want it to do and it works well. My biggest complaint is that it has no on/off switch. The cooling fan runs as long as the unit is plugged in. I suppose this is to protect the unit from being shut off while it is still hot.
It would have also been nice to have a battery "type" selector instead of every time you turn it on, you have to restart it and select the type of battery you are charging. Even with those complaints it is nicer than all the other chargers I tried.
