(More customer reviews)I purchased a similar spotlight by Cyclops approximately a year ago. I have used it three/four times. I went to use it again this week and it won't turn on. I tried calling Cyclops and their Customer Service number was busy 24/7 for three days straight! I ended up sending them an email. Another week went by and no response; I wrote them again. Still nothing.... bottom line is the spotlight worked great but if you need replacement parts like a battery or bulb forget it.

(More customer reviews)I tried two other rechargeable lights that would only hold a charge for about 2-3 minutes. The first one I didn't keep my receipt from Lowes and it went to the junk. The second one I took back from wally world having kept everything as the main problem with these lights is they take a lot of power to run them. The brinkmann is heavy but that's because it actually has a lead acid battery like in your car. It will honestly go 25 minutes between charges and it will light up the night like no other light I ever had. Take your binoculars because it will shine on an object so far away that you won't be able to see it with the naked eye that's how good it is. It's heavy and it gets hot around the globe but who cares....just cowboy up and carry it around.

(More customer reviews)This is a very powerful light. In fact, the video I have uploaded really does not do the spotlight justice to just how bright this thing is! You may wonder why you would have a need for such a bright light, but it really can come in handy. I have it in case our dog gets lost at night, or if we think there is a potential threat (aka potential intruder) in our yard. However, the light is also a great choice for camping or possibly marine applications.

Pros-

- Very direct beam - the light is narrow and penetrating
- Charges fully within 8 hours
- Has a car adapter
- Not too heavy
- Affordable

Areas for improvement

- Other spotlights have two settings - Ultra-bright and one that is less intense that is handy for saving the battery.
- Need to keep an eye on how long it charges - charging for over 24 hours can ruin the battery.
- Like all powerful Halogen lights - it generates heat. Be careful leaving the light on an unattended.

Final Verdict - Great light- I am very happy with its performance.
