(More customer reviews)Actually this motor is the bottom of the line in cost but is a real winner.I sold my 10 year old MinnKota which was still running great simply to upgrade to a new motor with about the same features.This one has 45 pounds of thrust whereas my old one had only 30 pounds.A great feature in this motor is the "battery test" which tells me how much life is left in the battery.Runs great.Feels solid.I am sure it will give me another 10 years or more of satisfaction...as my prior MinnKota did.

(More customer reviews)These work but they are not even close to putting out any where near the amount of light the older xenon bulbs use to.They're not 7 bucks a piece either so I guess it might be a down side but you're getting about 3x the bulbs for the money.If you want to get a really bright light maybe the maglite isn't good enough anymore if we can't keep it bright.There are a lot of other choices out there.

I've had mine for 14 years now on the beat and it still works.I've only had 2 batteries in it.I charge when it only needs to be charged.So in other words I've only bought one battery to replace the old one.It's lasted a long time so I guess I can't complain.I do find myself not using it a lot anymore because of the brightness of the flaslight.it's like a regular 3 cell anymore.
