(More customer reviews)This is a solid piece of equipment. The sound quality is very good, and the volume is plenty loud to hear over my outboard motor. I really like the scan feature. I set it up to scan 9, 16, and several of the channels that the charter captains use. I fish on Lake Michigan and listen to the fishing reports all day. The unit appears to be well made and holds a charge very well. I like the 2nd battery cartridge (for AAA batteries)for use if the primary cartridge fails.
