Razor E100 Electric Scooter Review

I read the reviews!.. its slow, the back tire is small and solid and when you brake it gets the flat lines like the original scooters...Phoey! stay on the straight surfaces, no driveways to kill the back tire...This thing is built VERY well, its quiet, fast enough for a 7-8 year old and the brake is in the front so how others got back tires to go flat is beyond me. The throttle is so good you dont need the brake 99% of the time. For 99.00 this is the most fun my 7 year old has had in a long time, he cant wait for the batteries to charge again :) This is 300% more scooter than we all got 2 years go.

NiteRider MiNewt.X2 LED Li-Ion Bicycle Head Light - 6521 Review

NiteRider MiNewt.X2 LED Li-Ion Bicycle Head Light - 6521
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had tried various battery operated headlamps for my recumbent but none of them provided enough light to ride at night on rural roads where there are no street lights. The NiteRider MiNewt.X2 headlamp provides adequate light, is very lightweight, easy to install on the bike and easy to adjust even with winter gloves on. The rechargable battery holds a good charge and is easy to affix to the handlebars. The beam is penetrating and adequately lights up the road and close surroundings. I have not yet outrun the beam. I passed a friend one morning on my way back home and he commented that the light was "piercing." Maybe I should have switched to low beam!

StairMaster 4400CL Stepper Review

StairMaster 4400CL Stepper

I have used Stairmaster products at my gym for years. After a tough winter and a new schedule getting to the gym has been a challenge and decided it was time to make the investment. What a great decision! The Stairmaster arrived after mutual agreement with the shipper to leave it out on the front step.I was worried that it would be too big for me to move in to the house by myself but I was wrong.A little more assembly than I expected but it was easy enough. My Stairmaster is great just like the club machine but better!I would highly recommend making the investment. Couldn't beat the price, significantly below the list price and no sales tax!

About StairMaster
In 1983, a Tulsa, Oklahoma company created a fitness training product line that stepped up exercise to a new level--StairMaster machines. The invention was credited for being "among the first machines to turn gyms into modern exercise arenas" by USA Today, the nation's most popular daily newspaper. Along with PDAs, laptops, and mobile phones, StairMaster machines have been labeled among the top 25 inventions that changed our lives over the past 25 years (USA Today, May 21, 2007). In fact, it was the only fitness product on the list.
More than two decades later, StairMaster products are still hard at work in gyms and homes preparing everyone from elite athletes to people in uniform, while being mentioned almost daily in the nation's news media and sitcoms like Seinfeld. Ed Viesturs, America's leading high-altitude mountaineer, relies on StairMaster trainers to prepare for climbs such as Mount Everest. "I do an hour on a StairMaster with a 50-pound pack on my back after simulating climbing movements in the gym," said Viesturs in Outdoor magazine. "These sessions hurt, but not as much as having to walk away from a climb because you weren't fit enough."
American hero Jim Campbell also looks to StairMaster trainers to maintain his physical readiness. A firefighter from Indianapolis, Campbell set the StairMaster StepMill record in 2006 (113.4 vertical miles in 24 hours). More than just a hobby, Campbell put his intensive training to use by rescuing a person trapped on the second story of a burning building--a feat that earned him a special commendation. Campbell joins thousands of firefighters who routinely train on StairMaster products to maintain top form. Are StairMaster machines a good solution for safe and effective lower body and cardio conditioning? Just ask each new firefighter candidate who must achieve 60 steps per minute for 3 minutes on a StairMaster StepMill while wearing a 50-pound vest and fire protective clothing ("turnouts").

Scorpio SR-i900 Motorcycle Alarm - New Review

Scorpio SR-i900 Motorcycle Alarm - New
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although there are some unwritten details about this alarm and it takes some getting used to, it is a very well made alarm. One neat feature that is not obvious in the manual is if the alarm is triggered and the remote is within 10 feet, the icons will flash to show a trigger, but the alarm will not go off.It "knows" you are there and the vehicle is safe. The perimeter feature and internal back-up battery (in case someone accesses the alarm and disconnects the power source)are also two nice perks. The perimeter feature will warn away someone in the vicinity, and will go off if the intruder doesn't leave.Even though it says to charge the remote daily, you probably could go at least 3 weeks without charging it.The effective range of the alarm in a city is about a quarter mile. This is my first experience with a paging alarm, and it is highly recommended if you want this type of alarm for your bike.

cuz I'm gonna whip your a** with this awesome Kingman Spyder Rocking Trigger. This trigger arrived quickly via USPS.With extreme anticipation I tore open the shipping package, opened the box, and laid out the parts before me.Installation was a snap, especially if you've taken your gun apart before.I have a Kingman Spyder SE.I had to remove the rubber bumper in order for the hammer to slide back far enough to lock on to the sear. I charged the battery that came with the trigger and in hours I was shooting up to 30 rounds per second (if you have fingers that fast). The new ACS Bolt is pretty sleek too.I highly recommend this trigger for any paintball enthusiast.

Cygolite Night Rover NiMH Xtra 16W Bike Light Review

Cygolite Night Rover NiMH Xtra 16W Bike Light
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Cygolite Night Rover Xtra is one of the best sub-$100 lights on the market. The combined power of both bulbs is intense. Not only will oncoming vehicles see you for blocks, but the ground will be clearly illuminated. Using standard M16 reflector bulbs, replacement and retrofitting is easy. Yet, the circular beams produced by MR16 bulbs is less than ideal for most cycling.

The majority of incandescent bicycle lights in this price range use spotlight bulbs with circular lenses. While useful for their ubiquity, the beam pattern is undesirable. Depending on the type of riding, cyclists primarily need ground illumination, forward illumination to alert motor vehicles or a combination of both. What riders do not need is illumination of the sky above. When using this light in a wooded area, you will notice the trees illuminated. This represents wasted lumens.

As you can see from automobile headlights, the optimal vehicle beam is rectangular. This maps well to human vision created by two eyes and little need to see obstructions high above the road surface. Interestingly, many of the inexpensive bicycles lights such as the Bell Night Trail (see review) have a rectangular reflector and lens. Hopefully, the high-end light manufacturers will adopt this pattern in the future.

Design problems aside, the Night Rover Xtra is made well. The build quality of the housing, battery bottle and cable is excellent. With the battery in a separate location, the dual beam head is rather diminutive and light. However, there is one minor problem with the head in its lack of side illumination that would come from by two small windows. Again, this is a feature common on less expensive all-in-one lights.

Having a separate battery in a water bottle form factor lowers the center of gravity and provides a quick means of stowing and removal. However, this arrangement obviously consumes one of the cages. A better solution, in my opinion, is a frame-mount battery, which is typically found on high-end HID lighting systems. Unfortunately, the conspicuous placement of the battery leads to another problem -- theft.

After several months of reliable use, my Night Rover Xtra was stolen at 3:00pm in an affluent area on the North side of Chicago. My recommendation to anyone who leaves his bike unattended is to replace the head thumbscrew with a regular bolt. You might also want to consider securing the cable with several locking ties and Gorilla tape. Otherwise, you may be shopping for another one in the near future.Pros

About Elliptical Trainers
Elliptical trainers represent the next wave of advancement in low-impact cardiovascular exercise machines and continue to grow in popularity. By simulating motions experienced through walking, stepping, cycling, and skiing, elliptical machines allow for a smooth and fluid motion while building strength in the arms and legs. Similar to the exercise position for treadmills, elliptical trainers are used by standing in an upright position while holding the handrails of the machine. With elliptical trainers, however, your feet remain in the foot pedals throughout the exercise regimen and circulate in a smooth and seamless motion, resulting in little to no impact on the knees, back, and hips.
Elliptical trainers are compatible for all ages and fitness levels and allow you to select the difficulty level through the incline and intensity settings. Additionally, elliptical trainers allow you to determine the complexity of your workout based on your needs, all while listening to music, watching television, or reading a magazine while exercising in the comfort and safety of your own home.
Although different types of elliptical trainers offer an assortment of features, many of them include an array of challenging programs, forward and reverse directional movement, EKG grip pulse handles, a lightweight portable design with easy fold-up capability, and a monitor displaying calories burned, distance, speed, time, and heart rate. Other types of exercise machines, namely treadmills and bikes, offer excellent cardiovascular exercise and muscular training for the legs in a forward-motion exercise. Elliptical trainers take this to the next level by offering an upper and lower body workout with dual motion, challenging and diverse programs, and a low-impact exercise machine that won't strain sensitive joints.

110-120 Volt AC Quick-Fill Electric Air Pump Review

110-120 Volt AC Quick-Fill Electric Air Pump
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this pump to fill up kiddie splash pools and ball pits.
It's doing a great job at it!
This pump really IS quick. Filling up a BIG splash pool ("sun shade pool") takes only a few minutes with NO effort.

The reason why it didn't get 5 stars is:

- the power cord is too short...

- the connection between the hose and the nozzle that goes into the inflatable toy keeps on coming undone while inflating, which is pretty annoying. I have to hold it tightly the whole time it is in use.

Other that that this is a great value! You can't beat $30 for a pump that inflates that quickly and is reliable, too (no batteries to charge or anything - just plug it in!)

Classic Army Sportline M15A4 Carbine Value Package airsoft gun Review

Classic Army Sportline M15A4 Carbine Value Package airsoft gun
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
That's right, I felt like a Rockstar of the Airsoft world once I squeezed that trigger and let that puppy roar! I ordered this machine on Amazon via Air Armory on May 12th and received it today (opting for the lowest shipping option), May 17th ... 3 business days later! As if that wait didn't seem like an eternity (only 3 days), the 1.5 hours to charge the battery seemed even longer if possible.

With the Value package for the same price as just the rifle at most vendors I received my rifle, 8.4v 1100 mA battery (though they give you enough room to fit a car battery and wire that reaches the stock), a 9.6v 500 mA trickle charger (for speedy charging), 500 CA quality .20g BBs, a actually VERY nice pair of amber shooting glasses, and of course the el cheapo sling, but hey, 4 outta 5 extras ain't bad. Not to mention the VERY well translated manual and glossy CA catalog to boot.

So I eagerly open the box and it was like opening the "case" in Pulp Fiction, my shiny (actually matte) new toy. Listed at 350 fps though rumored to be quite higher, just don't tell the CQB authorities! To kill time waiting for the battery and get a feel for guestimating the true fps, I broke out my trusty Galaxy MK5K rated at 315 fps and fired a few rounds at each of the 4 targets I set up at 25' away. The Galaxy performed as I expected, rattling off at about 325 to 330 fps with TSD .20g BBs.

DING! the timer on the stove let me know it was time to kill some cardboard. Now I went into this with a $300 budget in mind and did a LOT of research. In addition I did buy a Barska 30mm Red Dot Scope and Carry Handle Weaver rail mount. I came nowhere near $300 but even if I did I would still be just as happy! Anyway, a few shots in semi to make the proper adjustments with a few clicks here and a few there and now I was zeroed in. In semi I was dead on with just under quarter sized grouping (20/25). Consistent on all three targets. Then came full-auto ... Very nice. Not sure what the center of the "O" is on a medium size Home Depot box but I was all up in it shredding that "O" at a fierce guesstimated 370 to 380 fps smacking my target into submission. This time I was using the CA BBs that came with. So to sum things up ... oh and the ArmaLite logos rock ...

Pros:
*Quite hefty and very realistic
*Everything but the Con(s) below ...

Cons:
*Sling mount is on the left side of the barrel just beneath the front sight. It bangs against the fore-grip and metal barrel; and yes I am a south paw. Most of the reviews I read said this could not be moved but upon close inspection there is a 2nd set of holes on the bottom of the bracket, well that is where it is mounted on their other M4 derivatives but between inspecting the assembly itself and the assembly chart in the manual there appears to be one hollow tension pin holding the actual sling mount, and two pins holding the assembly itself together, so all hope may not be lost.
*Unlike other CA rifles, the orange birdcage appears to be glued on and it did not come with a black metal replacement

That's it folks, hope you've enjoyed reading this review as much as I did writing it, but most importantly found it useful.

This Motor is good! However... If you buy an inflatable Sevylor boat (Which work great) and plan to use this motor for cruising around, you will be disappointed. On "fast" speed, the motor travels at about the pace of a slow average walk. If you are out using this motor for fishing, this is however about the right pace. One advantage of this motor is it only draws a maximum of 12 amps at the fastest pace. It will run the small accessory batter (another option to buy) for a solid 45 minutes. I bought a Large Everlast battery, which will be able to run the motor for SIX HOURS! For the Price... I would advise spending a littlemore cash and buying a trolling motor with24lbs thrust or more

I got these for my boys for Christmas! Watching them go is so much fun! This is one of their favorite things now. It's easy to put together. Only has about 45 minutes ride time but my boys don't seem to be bothered by that at all. KEEP DADS AND UNCLES OFF OF IT THOUGH!!!! The weight limit is legit. One broke under the weight of my brother-in-law (about 180 lbs). So we bought another one.

Blackburn System X6 Bicycle Lights Review

Blackburn System X6 Bicycle Lights

I really like this set-up.I am giving it 5-stars based on price, performance & durablity.I ride to work everyday. It's about 8 miles each way plus a 10 minute ride on the light rail.Much of my commute is on a busy trail.During daylight I use the flashing mode and more than one person has told me it's just too bright. People really see the flashing lights during the day. They didn't always see me before. At night I have plenty of light to see by. One of the lamps is a spot and it lights the road/trail in front of me while the wide angle lamp lets me things off to the side. This system is much brighter than my 15 hallogen system, last longer (I have never run out of juice) and is lighter. Also being LED it is less likely to burn out a bulb and if I did burn out one, well I have a second one.

I am writting this review after owning the product for over 6-months.It was money well spent.I feel much safer these days. This product is also very well built. Mine has survived on BAD crash with just a few nicks and scratches. (That's better than the bike or I did.)

As for future improvments.Use 5 watt LEDs instead of 3 watt.Go to Li-ion battery that is smaller and lighter but gives the same burn time. Both of these would raise the cost but I would pay the extra to get it.

Each head has a dimmer switch that can be set at 30, 70 or 100-percent allowing the lights to operate from 3.5 to 14 hours on a single charge in either steady or flash modes. The System X6 lights feature Constant Current technology that maintains near-full brightness throughout their runtime without overheating, as well as a patented flashing rate that has been scientifically proven to be more visible to the human eye at a distance.
The Blackburn X6 includes a helmet mount and standard/oversized universal bar clamp, and a lightweight five-cell NiMH battery that fits on the frame, in bottle cages, or in your jersey pocket. The Blackburn System X6 also includes a supercharger that can achieve a full charge in 4.5 hours, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Blackburn System X8 Rechargeable Luxeon Bike Light System Review

Blackburn System X8 Rechargeable Luxeon Bike Light System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After a week of using the Blackburn X8 for commuting 11.5 miles each way to/from work, I can honestly say that it is the brightest light system that I have used.Previously I was using a Light and Motion single lamp system which was great, but on darkened paths and roads, it was too focused and wouldn't project far enough ahead for the speed I wanted to ride. The Blackburn X8 dual system's spot lamp throws a nice bright light quite a bit farther up the road, and the flood lamp is great for illuminating the sides of the path/lane.I also like having the flashing feature on each lamp, because once I get into traffic I switch the flood to blinking to alert drivers. The system charges quickly and I can keep it plugged in without fear of overcharging. The switches are easy to use, and have a nice tactile click when pressed.

The design of the system leaves much to be desired, however. My first gripe is that I initially was intending to mount one lamp on my bars and one on my helmet, but that is not possible because of the cord design. And because only one helmet mount is supplied, the only way to use the two lamps at the same time is to mount them both close together on the bars. Not bad, but information available from retailers made me expect more flexibility when deciding where to mount the lamps. My second gripe is that if you mount the battery to the bike frame, you need to remove it in order to charge it.The charging receptacle inaccessible when it is frame mounted, and removing it and remounting it quickly became a pain in the butt.I finally resorted to putting the battery in a cut down water bottle and keeping it in the cage, but it would have been simple to make the charging receptacle accessible while still mounted to the frame. Thirdly, the design of the bar mounts cause inteference with the cable housing.I needed to remove the bar tape and reposition the housing so I could get the mounts positioned right. Finally, the overall cosmetics seems to be aimed at the younger, "armored gear" crowd with its fins, hoods and facets.I much prefer the simple elegant design of the L&M system.

Now that I have worked through the issues and am used to the quirks of the X8 system, I like it, and I am glad I made the switch.Performance is top shelf. However, I hope Blackburn considers a minor re-design of the battery pack and handlebar mounts to cure the issues that I described. Then perhaps the design would match the performance.

Product broke during utterly normal use - it just shut down and stopped working on a flat, dry sidewalk three weeks into ownership.Emails and phone calls to the company to set up warranty service have gone unanswered. No phone listed on their website; found their number through some legwork, but only a machine answers, never a real person. For all I know this company doesn't even exist.BEWARE.Roth Motors or whatever should be avoided...don't make the same mistake I did.Inexcusable.Zero stars.

Product Description:
The 2000X is a quantum leap in scooter design, technology, and performance, and promises to revolutionize urban travel. The 2000X is not a toy. We don't even like to call it a "scooter". We call it a Motorboard. It is a serious transportation device with a top speed of 15mph, giving it the power and endurance necessary to get around in any urban environment. What's even more incredible, is that the 2000X can be easily folded up, and weighing 19.5lbs (8.8Kg), it is light enough to be carried on the subway, train, bus, or into work. A typical non-motorized adult bike weighs twice as much! This ability to mesh with other forms of transportation make it ideal for the modern urban environment. Public transportation can be used for the majority of a commute, and the Motorboard can be used for the last part of the journey. Because it runs on electricity it is very friendly to the environment, and a very efficient and economical form of transportation. The Motorboard is for everyone, everywhere. Perfect for urban travel, academic and business campuses, hospitals, film studios, airports, travel & leisure, shopping, errands, lunch hour, and the list goes on. Plus, you?ll never have to look for parking, be late, pay for gas, change your oil, or break a sweat. The Motorboard is an exceptional value, with its winning combination of advanced features, high quality construction, sleek design, and incredible versatility, no other personal transportation device comes close.FULL SPECIFICATIONS: ? Navman PiN 100 Portable GPS Pocket PC Navigation System Review

Navman PiN 100 Portable GPS Pocket PC Navigation System
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After seeing the terrible review at InfoSyncWorld, I became very worried that I was going to regret having just purchased the Navman PiN 100. There is very little in the way of reviews for this product so I will try to be as thorough as I can.

As a Pocket PC, I am completely satisfied with the Navman PiN 100. It is actually just a Mio DigiWalker (it even has the Mio DigiWalker logo on the back of it) so if you have seen reviews for that, then this is the same thing. It runs Windos Mobile 2003, has one expansion slot (an SDIO slot), and a suitably fast CPU and on-device storage & memory. I have used it as a Pocket PC for many things now and have not once felt the hardware specs to be lacking. Handwriting recognition is still awful but that is something to mention in a review of Windows Mobile 2003 operating system itself, not the Navman.

You WILL need a 256 or 512MB SD card to hold maps. The included 32MB card is basically worthless, I left it in the box and never used it. Many if not most states are over 30MB and that means you would not even be able to load them onto the card. I suggest getting one of those 256MB cards with wifi ability built-in, then you can kill two birds with one stone. Wifi is a neat thing to have.

As an in-car GPS solution, the Navman is hands-down absolutely the best value on the market. For under $500 (which is including the absolutely necessary additional purchase of a memory card) you get a Pocket PC, all necessary cables, an unobtrusive GPS receiver, a windshield mount, a car charger/adapter, and of course the Smart ST v2 GPS software. The Garmin iQue 3600 is its closest competitor -- I tried it too and decided the Navman PiN was both the better value and the superior product (bigger, brighter screen among many other things). Unfortunately the Navman PiN package feels exactly like what it is -- not one well-integrated product but a box of products sold as a bundle. When you open the box you are confronted with several envelopes, nearly a half dozen CD-ROMs, three different user manuals, and a confusing pile of cords and accessories. They burden you with actually loading the Smart ST v2 software on the Pocket PC, before you load it on your PC, register it and activate it, then install ActiveSync from another CD, and a bunch of other hassles like configuring the GPS COM port and baud rate -- TOO many hassles -- before you are finally ready to use the product. There was so much paperwork in the box that I spent several confused minutes wondering where the serial number was that the software wanted in order to install it. I would like to see the software pre-loaded on the handheld and all of the necessary stuff for your PC come on one single DVD ROM. I just plunked down 5 benjamins for a GPS toy, do you think I have not found myself a DVD drive for my computer yet? Get with the 21st century people.

Battery life is certainly better than the iQue 3600. It is at least 3 or 4 hours but I haven't done any real tests so I don't have an actual figure to give.

The GPS receiver takes some time to pick up satellites. Anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes on your first use, and 2 to 5 minutes from a cold start after that. It seems like definitely longer if you are moving. This is too long in my opinion, I don't know if other receivers are better, or not. As an in-car device I generally want to take it out of my pocket, put it on the dash, and have it ready to go. Instead I have to sort of sit there in the car for a few minutes or just wait until the first stoplight to check on where I am or where I am going.

The car charger is just that -- nothing to say about it. It gets the job done and is nice to have. The windshield mount is a suction cup mount and secures excellently to the windshield. I wish I could say the same for how well it secures the handheld. It barely does at all. It sort of just cradles it lightly. If you put your Navman in it without the utmost care, it is liable to fall right out. That is NOT good. I recommend angling it back some so that gravity holds it in a little. This seems to work for me. I would have rather it clipped in or snapped in, but no.

The rest of this review is going to sound pretty harsh because I don't really like the GPS software that the Navman PiN comes with (Smart ST v2 2.00.0036 SP2). It is promising, but fatally flawed. I want to say up front though, that I would not give up using this device just because I think the software sucks. I just deal with the frustrations and hope there will be an update to iron them out later.

First off, the map view. The map view is gorgeous, in full 16-bit color, with color coded roads to show your route, the current road you're on, roads that pass under/over your road, and little arrows indicating direction of traffic. Major and minor roads are different colors, and the roadnames are displayed very clearly and legibly. Geography like lakes and forest is marked with blue and green. The view switches to a 3D angled view whenever you are on a route to a destination, and rotates so that up is always your heading and you can see more in front of you than behind. The graphics are state-of-the-art for this market and nothing in its price range with the exception of TomTom Navigator can touch it. Your friends will be impressed.

The voice navigation is well-timed and intelligible, with the exception of "make a legal u-turn" which to most people sounds like "make illegal u-turn" (worth a few laughs). Voice only says when to turn and which direction, it doesn't say the street name or even highway number, which is too bad but that's typical for a PocketPC program.

The two big disasters of this software are its address input for destinations and routing, and the routing algorithm itself. These are the fatally flawed features which keep me from recommending this device to anyone who would get frustrated easily.

When inputting an address, you are allowed to select from your contacts (a Windows Mobile 2003 feature), however if you do this, you will 100% of the time be told that you have selected an invalid address. Sometimes this is because the map data is 18 months old and doesn't know this address exists, but most of the time it will accept the address if you re-enter it by hand. This is unacceptable. Also, when you start entering it by hand, it will suggest a drop down list of possible locations, and they will all seem pretty much like the same place. There is no way to tell if the address you are entering should be in Richmond VA, Richmond MCD VA, or one of several other entries for what is obviously the same place. Then you will enter a street, for instance Lotus Lane, but it will not be found because you didn't type Lotus La. This is asinine. Entering the address for a destination takes 5 mintues because of this nonsense, when it should take 5 seconds. And you will have to do this every time you enter the address, unless you pick destinations off of your "Recent" list. Once, I loaded a destination off of my contact list and ignored the "invalid address" warning and Smart ST2 routed me to some completely non-related location of the same town. From now on I make sure I do the address input in the way it wants it.

As for routing, it has a lot of quirks. I will describe some of the ones I have experienced. To put it blunty, it can recommend some DUMB routes -- I mean really out of your way sometimes. I use "quickest" navigation and "shortest distance" is even worse. Once it took me to what appeared to be a complete dead end, and the map said I could keep going -- not without a machete I couldn't. I drew an "avoid area" and the route put me back on the course I should have stayed on in the first place. Other times, it takes you pretty close to where you have to go and says you have reached your destination, but you could be anywhere from one to eight blocks away from where you need to be. This can be frustrating if you fight hard for a parking spot in the city and get out and realize you still have to walk 8 blocks. It might have to do with the way the software estimates street addresses. It uses ranges of addresses and estimation to guess where a particular street address is. Sometimes this works reasonably well and other times (when ranges are large) it doesn't work at all. You might be better off never giving it a street address. Instead only give it street intersections and take yourself from there. Autorouting works fairly well, but Smart ST2 is slow to route anything, and so it will display a question mark for a minute or two until it suggests a new route. Sometimes when you know better and have a better route in mind, it will stubbornly insist you make a u-turn at every cross street until finally re-routing and "seeing the light" of what route you had in mind. I have seen other PocketPC software be smarter and faster at re-routing.

So in conclusion, I highly recommend this product to geeks willing to deal with some quirks (and hope for fixes), but not to the general public who would probably be hopelessly frustrated by the routing and input problems, despite the pretty interface and good value.

P.S. my review of the software is of the version after you apply the currently available patch on Navman's site. Before I did this, all of the routing problems I mentioned above were like twice as bad, and I would have given two stars instead of three. When reading any poor reviews of the Navman PiN, try to check if they are using the software before or after the patch.
