(More customer reviews)That's right, I felt like a Rockstar of the Airsoft world once I squeezed that trigger and let that puppy roar! I ordered this machine on Amazon via Air Armory on May 12th and received it today (opting for the lowest shipping option), May 17th ... 3 business days later! As if that wait didn't seem like an eternity (only 3 days), the 1.5 hours to charge the battery seemed even longer if possible.

With the Value package for the same price as just the rifle at most vendors I received my rifle, 8.4v 1100 mA battery (though they give you enough room to fit a car battery and wire that reaches the stock), a 9.6v 500 mA trickle charger (for speedy charging), 500 CA quality .20g BBs, a actually VERY nice pair of amber shooting glasses, and of course the el cheapo sling, but hey, 4 outta 5 extras ain't bad. Not to mention the VERY well translated manual and glossy CA catalog to boot.

So I eagerly open the box and it was like opening the "case" in Pulp Fiction, my shiny (actually matte) new toy. Listed at 350 fps though rumored to be quite higher, just don't tell the CQB authorities! To kill time waiting for the battery and get a feel for guestimating the true fps, I broke out my trusty Galaxy MK5K rated at 315 fps and fired a few rounds at each of the 4 targets I set up at 25' away. The Galaxy performed as I expected, rattling off at about 325 to 330 fps with TSD .20g BBs.

DING! the timer on the stove let me know it was time to kill some cardboard. Now I went into this with a $300 budget in mind and did a LOT of research. In addition I did buy a Barska 30mm Red Dot Scope and Carry Handle Weaver rail mount. I came nowhere near $300 but even if I did I would still be just as happy! Anyway, a few shots in semi to make the proper adjustments with a few clicks here and a few there and now I was zeroed in. In semi I was dead on with just under quarter sized grouping (20/25). Consistent on all three targets. Then came full-auto ... Very nice. Not sure what the center of the "O" is on a medium size Home Depot box but I was all up in it shredding that "O" at a fierce guesstimated 370 to 380 fps smacking my target into submission. This time I was using the CA BBs that came with. So to sum things up ... oh and the ArmaLite logos rock ...

Pros:
*Quite hefty and very realistic
*Everything but the Con(s) below ...

Cons:
*Sling mount is on the left side of the barrel just beneath the front sight. It bangs against the fore-grip and metal barrel; and yes I am a south paw. Most of the reviews I read said this could not be moved but upon close inspection there is a 2nd set of holes on the bottom of the bracket, well that is where it is mounted on their other M4 derivatives but between inspecting the assembly itself and the assembly chart in the manual there appears to be one hollow tension pin holding the actual sling mount, and two pins holding the assembly itself together, so all hope may not be lost.
*Unlike other CA rifles, the orange birdcage appears to be glued on and it did not come with a black metal replacement

(More customer reviews)(I'm her son) This gun rocks!I've been playing airsoft for about 5 years now with a lot of friends and I have to say I've only ever seen 1 other electric gun that was as good as this and thats the Kraken Aftermath.Yet unless you have a real feddish for AKs I would go with this since its close quarters style is more practical for airsoft.My friends really hate me using this thing on them.

PROS:
STYLE - compact so corners and close quarters are manuverable and surprisingly comfy on your shoulder
FPS - will leave welts at a normal range (normal range to me is anywhere from 25 meters and closer)
ACCURACY - I'll leave it at this I don't leave many welts on my buds since you can use it as a sniper rifle and they will still know they have been hit at its maximum range (my friends play 3 shot kill)
BATTERY - charges for 3.6 hours to be full but runs for 8 hours if you don't just randomly let off automatic fire every 2 seconds
ROF - if someone needs covering fire they've got it, you could hold off three guys together as long as they're in the same general direction
MORE - unlike some other AEGs I've worked with semi works just as well as auto in accuracy and range

CONS:
CLIPS - it comes with 2 which is nice but 68 rounds flies by, I got a 300 round clip which isn't hard to find and I've never had a problem with ammo since, (the instructions with the gun are for a 300 rd clip)

It definitely doesn't shoot 330 fps, more like 270-280 which is pretty impressive for the price. if you do buy the gun i would reccomend getting a classic army clip because the one it comes with is cheap and made out of plastic. Its got a nice rate of fire and great accuracy, just don't try to snipe anybody out. I don't think it can be compared to classic Army, but definitely as good as tokyo marui (better than utg).

(More customer reviews)Well to start, the gun's not blue, its black.The fact that this gun was black actualy pleased me because it looks more real.The gun shoots fairly decent.Unlike the other P-90s, this one DOESN'T spit out BB's everywhere.The BB's do tend to curve after about 30 feet, but thats airsoft for you.It can fire at least 75 feet though, and it's great for airsoft wars. It doesn't shoot all that hard.If you don't care about how the gun looks, then the MP5 would be better.My friend has it and shoots at least 100 feet and a lot harder then this gun.Its about the same price too, but it does't look as cool.

GB G36C Electric Airsoft AEG Gun Review

(More customer reviews)This is a review on the gun, not the seller, so I'm not going to say whether to buy from them or not, since I got mine from ebay. Keep in mind that I have not upgraded it, and everything is stock from a box that was unopened before I got it.

First off, looks. This gun looks awesome. The G36 series is made by Heckler & Koch, and they all sport an oversized carrying handle except for the G36c, which has a rail instead of a handle. The gun is made of sturdy ABS plastic to mimic the composite that the real G36c is made of. Everything that is metal on the real one is metal on this. Metal parts include the fire selection switch, the bottom rail, the button to fold the stock, all the fasteners and screws, the trigger, and the sights. The flash hider is die-cast metal as well. The gun feels very sturdy, and weighs in at about 5 1/2 pounds. Light enough for CQB, but heavy enough that it feels good in your hands.

Construction is very well done. There is no wobble in the gun whatsoever, except for a minor, MINOR, wobble in the magazine that is impossible to notice unless you are looking for it. The battery is in the handguard, butit's so sturdy you would think that the whole gun is one solid piece. I was amazed how sturdy it was put together. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and range, but requires an alan wrench to adjust. The folding stock is probably my favorite part of this gun. It locks into place with NO WOBBLE whatsoever, and folds to the side while remaining solid as a rock. The only flimsy feeling part is the top rail, but it's still stronger than the strongest part of a low-end gun. The gun can still be fired with the stock folded, which is a godsend for tight spaces. The magazine has pegs on it so that if you buy another one you can clip them together for fast mag changes.

Firing was a blast. I have not done the poor man's chrono test (shooting a soda can) yet, but I'm guessing that the FPS hovers around 370 right out of the box. Some users have reported stock speeds of up to 400! The rate of fire is nothing to write home about, but it is still respectable with an output of 750~800 rounds per minute (or 12 per second). I don't have any other MPEGs to compare it to, but for my purposes the accuracyis phenomenal. It has 2.5 inch groupings at 25 feet, which doesn't sound like much, but it's enough to give me confidence that I can hit ANYTHING (no matter how small) at less than 150 feet in three shots or less. The hop-up is also spectacular, keeping the bb going straight for at least 150 feet (the size of my yard). Couple that with a fully automatic mode, and you have a weapon that will be feared during skirmishes.

One thing that surprised me about the gun was how versatile it is. It can go from CQB to medium range, so it makes a great all-around gun for riflemen, spotters, and submachine gunners alike. With a tightbore barrel and a scope you could probably even use it as a Designated Marksman! I'm not going to say anything dumb like "d00d! add to k4rt!!!!!!!1!!" since you obviously need to decide for yourself, but I will say that this is one of the best airsoft purchases I've made. It makes a great first or second gun, and, properly cared for, will probably be a staple of your arsenal for a long while.

(More customer reviews)awesome gun! it says it goes 370fps (feet per second) but I chronographed it and it shot 415 fps. it is EXTREMELY accurate using the iron sights the red dot scope does basically nothing. the hi-capacity magazine holds about 350 rounds but you need to crank it a lot. it has a medium rate of fire (600-750 rounds per minute) and is great for battles. but as i said it's a bit too powerful (my friends don't want me to use this gun in battles) i would rate 4 and a half stars if i could. hope this review was helpful!

(More customer reviews)I was very pleased with this product. it has a high fire rate and good FPS. I recommend this as a back-up if a primary weapon stops working.

I put a B-2 panoramic sight on it and took the iron sights off, when everything is sighted in, the accuracy on this is amazing!

Thw ONLY problem I have with this gun is that the charging handle breaks easily, mine broke. This can be fixed by taking the top rails off and exposing the fuse and charging handle assembly, simply remove the spring that is attached to the charging handle.

(More customer reviews)First off, this gun is great, it shoots fast, shoots fairly hard, and is fairly accurate within 50 feet.It's accurate enough for me to hit some one with one shot from about 50 feet, and in full auto, it's not hard to hit some one at all.

When I got it, I looked on the package, and noticed that it said it comes with all the good stuff like a red dot site ( don't bother) hi cap mag, stuff like that, and then one thing stuck out, it says it comes with a flashlight, but, to my amazement, it does not come with a flash light, there isn't even a space in the styrofoam for a flashlight, so that kinda stinks.If I were some stickler A.R. kind of person, I would have sent it back that day, but I'm not, I also don't play at night, so a flashlight is useless for me.JUST BE AWARE THAT IF YOU EXPECT THIS TO COME WITH A FLASHLIGHT, IT DOES NOT!

My only other gripe is the fact that both sights (red dot and open sites) are horribly in-accurate.The open sights are outright horrible, and the red dot sight is only on target at distances of about 40 feet to 60 feet.But frankly, I also do not use sights, the are pointless on any airsoft gun that is not a sniper, for any paintballers out there, it's like putting a scope on a full auto frontman marker, it's just pointless when you can see the flight of your ball.

Over all, this gun is great, if you are starting out, or upgrading from a spring gun, and you want an afordable, durable, cool, electric airsoft gun, get this one.I gave it four stars because of the two reasons above.

I am most dissapointed with the seller though, first, it took then five days between when amazon sent them the shipping information, and when the actually shipped it.Secondly, they did not send a tracking number untill we requested it by E-mail, which also took them several days.If I were to buy this, or any other gun again, I absolutely would not use this seller.

(More customer reviews)The gun is pretty sturdy, my only complaint is that I didn't like it's dual safety switch feature. There's a button that must be held down in order to pull the trigger (with some doing I was able to remove it, if you don't have basic mechanic skills I don't suggest you do that, you'll just have a brand new nonworking gun with a voided warrenty). From 20 feet away the gun isn't accurate at all, unless you're shooting at a barn. Easily managable in full auto, my grouping with my sticky target (from 15 feet away) was excellent. The sights are great. Good for a backyard shoot out with your buddies because it won't break the windows, the bb's will bounce off the glass (I shot window point blank to make a point, I don't suggest you do this). It's also cool to just pop in the high capacity magazine and shoot it from the hip like Rambo. Ok gun overall.

easy to understand instructions,
good rails and clip,
easy to adjust hop up,
very acurate

cons:
bad strap,
the battery plug can get stuck easy,
the stock gets in the way of the safety lever sometimes,
the clip is hard to reload and the gun goes through a lot of rounds as a consequence of the rate of fire

the bottom line is that this is a great gun but u may want to buy some things to help u use it better like a strap and speedloader... if u want to pwn and lay down heavy suppressive fire

"update"

i have gotten to use this gun in an "airsoft war" situation and, O... M... G... beat both my bro and neighbor with it and also beat multiple other people in a team

there are a couple technical things that came up

(new pros)
the gun is durable

(new cons)
the stock gets weaker as time goes by
other AK47 model mags do not fit into the gun... but the mag for this one fits into other guns

(things i did to the gun)
i took the top rails off... the top rail is only a peice of plastic attached to the top battery cover with 3 phillips head screws
i used the bipod from my sniper to turn this gun effectively into a support machine gun

I charged the battery, loaded the gun and went outside to try it out. The range is decent, good for medium to close range fire fights. Within that distance the accuracy is good, but when you get around 15-20 meters away the bbs start to curve. The rate of fire is better than I expected, I ran out of ammo after about ten minutes of target practice. The scope that came with the gun is only for looks. The scope does nothing to help your accuracy and the red dod in the center actually gets in the way. If you get this gun I advise that you do not use the scope while you are playing. The flash light that came with the gun is very bright. It will help alot if you play in dark areas, but its brightness will give away your position if you are not careful. This gun has a great firing rate, decent accuracy, amazing ammo capacity, and a decent range. I recommend this gun for any first time players and even for veterans of the game. The price is good, the gun looks cool and plays good, and the package comes with everything that you may need to play the game.

Pros:
95% of it is metal
The magazine holds about 375 rounds
375 feet per second at .2 grams
Has not jammed on me once
Internal piston is metal
It also has a nice slight recoil to it as well
Battery last a half of the day
Four rails (3 on the top, 1 at the bottom of the barrel)
The motor is adjustable
Hop up system works wonderfully

Cons:
None so far.

It shoots at a decent speed and it is very accurate for a certain distance until it starts to curve(I don't know the distance, but I would say at least as long as the average backyard, if not more). This gun should be wonderful for backyard wars(haven't got to battle with it yet). I thought I would need a more powerful gun, but I realized that nobody would want to play with me if I kept shooting them with a really powerful gun at short distances. The hop up works extremely well. I can aim the gun down (no more than an angle of 45 degrees) and the BB's still curve up enough so it doesn't hit the ground(because of the hop up). The only thing I don't like about the gun is that the barrels are made of cheap plastic and can break off the gun easily. When my friend was playing with it, he accidentally hit me with the barrel and it snapped off. I fixed it with superglue and heavy duty tape though. The seller, Airsoft Central, is awesome and I give them a 5 out of 5! Overall, this gun is probably the best gun you could get for the price for backyard wars. It is defiantly my gun of choice(for backyard wars of course ;)]!

The battery lasts a decent while, for me it goes for about 4 hours. Its overall fps is 260 and shoots about 400 bbs a minute. Its accuracy and power extend to about 80 yards, so with the scope and automatic and single shot settings, this gun is very versatile. In the hands of the right person, they could easily command the battlefield! GREAT BUY!

Comes with goggles, which are not bad, wish they were not tinted though.

Also comes with a pistol P70 that runs on 4 AAA batteries.I have not been able to get this pistol to work and plan on calling Crosman (heard their customer service is good - I hope so)I wish it was a spring operated gun like the P-36 but it's not.The holster that holds the pistol is very good quality and impressive.

The main gun the R71 seems to be built fairly sturdy.The stock is removable by pushing a button and sliding upwards.
The "silencer" is removable by unscrewing it, thus making gun much shorter without the stock or silencer.
The gun shoots fairly quickly, but it is hard/impossible to aim due to the BB reservoir being the fake scope that you can't look through (probably the only negative about this gun).You can't remove the "scope" because then you would have but maybe 5 BB's in the chamber.
There are 3 settings safe, semi automatic and full automatic.

I've tested .12 and .2 gram BB's and both shoot decently with this gun.
This gun is not strong enough to shoot through cans or card board etc like more expensive guns but is why I think it's good for kids and beginners and I will easily give this a 5 star rating if customer service works out an exchange for the pistol and it is as good as the rifle.

Edit 1/5/10:Customer service was prompt and great and they are replacing the pistol that didn't work.Because of this I easily give this package a 5 star rating.Kids are still having a ball with them!I will edit how the P70 pistol is when It arrives.

Good package I recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Got this for my 12 y.o. son. Seemed to be well made for $50, kinda hefty feel for plastic. Its about 3/4 real size so perfect for kids. This was my sons first full auto. After charging for a few hours, he loaded up the hopper and i have to admit, pretty cool. Worked very well, not a real strong shooter and not real accurate, but with .20g BBs its accurate enough to find your target with contiuous fire, with .12g BBs, they seem to just fly all around at any distance. It dosent seem to jam at all, although as its a hopper feed, when the hopper gets low you have to keep the gun somewhat level or its shooting blanks. The scope is worthless, its the BB hopper. Shooting full auto does run the battery down fast and there is no semi/full auto switch(or ours didnt work). For the price it seems slightly better than average. This gun lasted my son almost a year, he was playing an airsoft war with friends and fell on the gun, breaking the end of the barrel right off(yes, weak point). He did say that lately the battery only lasted 15 min or so. This gun was used alot, well worth $50. I would buy another one but he needs more FPS to keep up with his friends.
