(More customer reviews)Two years ago I bought a Surefire, thinking it was the best and the brightest.I was very wrong.
Last year I bought the Olight T20 Tactical. [I have a very short review of that incredible light here on Amazon] I paid $70 for it at the local gun and knife show.. 220 lumens.. [the Surefire was $120 for 120 lumens].
Last week I went to another gun and knife show and bought the M20 Warrior Premium. I'll admit to you [since we are all friends here] that I hadn't heard of this model so didn't know the price.. I paid $100.00 for it [don't tell the wife]. I have since found it online on sale for $80 + shipping [sigh]. Ok, it pays to do your research.
This light is just as incredible as the T20 Tactical.. only its 30 lumens brighter. At 250 lumens this light is PAINFULLY bright. I would say it is just as described above and if you are a Surefire owner you will kick yourself for spending that much money for a Surefire when this is just as good [if not better] construction, Much, Much brighter for less money.
Ok, [since we are all friends here] I'll tell you what I don't like about the M20 Warrior.
The Sheath/ case.
Since the light end of it is 1 5/8" dia, the case is kinda big, plus it has a pouch on each side for extra battery packs [this is a tactical light and spare batteries can save your life so this is a good thing] but make it about 3 1/4" wide with extra batteries in it. Plus the button end of the light sticks out of a hole in the sheath flap about an inch.
I carry a flashlight on my belt every day so this one is very obvious compared to the T20 Tactical and looks like pepper spray or something.
All in all this is an incredible light for the price.. heck, its incredible for twice the price compared to the Surefire. Personally, I'd redesign the sheath and keep the light or buy another T20 [in case I lose this one]. I really love that T20 Tactical.
Note to all you LED nuts [like me] I saw a "Cree" light on here with 4 cree LEDs that boasted 760 lumens for $130...that's my next purchase [if none of you tell the wife].
